I agree with just trying to sip the water all day.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07064860942058643790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5229402567297576792.post-11652126701654745542011-11-10T01:44:16.735+00:002011-11-10T01:44:16.735+00:00You reminded me of me when I first transitioned to...You reminded me of me when I first transitioned to real food. I was so afriad that I chewed everything to mush too and called it a day ! :) I've never had a problem guzzling water (after the first few weeks) so I guess I'm just lucky.Cecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11763546774061578108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5229402567297576792.post-35892498691422855862011-11-09T19:08:27.007+00:002011-11-09T19:08:27.007+00:00I agree with Manda! I'm so tired of drinking!!LOL (never thought I'd be able to say that) I, too, moved forward a little early, started mushies today and it felt so good to CHEW food. Glad you are doing well. :)Lollihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10853042237502745334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5229402567297576792.post-51310945348412349232011-11-09T14:13:33.694+00:002011-11-09T14:13:33.694+00:00I had the same kind of pain in my left side that w...I had the same kind of pain in my left side that would come and go for the first couple months. Not sure why.

As for the water, I had this same problem at the beginning too and I think it was just because at first, all you're having is liquids and mushies so you don't want anymore liquidy stuff and later it's due to the inability to gulp. Now I have to sip all day to hit my water intake.MandaPandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03362923550051566309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5229402567297576792.post-1952754280428960022011-11-09T13:57:27.998+00:002011-11-09T13:57:27.998+00:00I too sometimes wonder if my band is there. I get mine next week hopefully!

On most days I get all my water in but the past two days have been hard. Try and sip all day long.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08631044020664223646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5229402567297576792.post-49507720932233862062011-11-09T13:07:58.389+00:002011-11-09T13:07:58.389+00:00With the lap band you will find in the early month...With the lap band you will find in the early months especially that you will need to sip all day long to get in your water.

I have such great restriction that for me when I drink water, it is like a funnel and I feel it trickle through my band.

After your fill this will get even harder, so start carrying your water and sipping constantly! Water and protein are so very very important in this process!Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13156943361193851644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5229402567297576792.post-91873732163269036912011-11-09T12:36:46.423+00:002011-11-09T12:36:46.423+00:00I have also found it very hard to get my water in....I have also found it very hard to get my water in. Yesterday was the only day that I was able to get all the water in I needed. I noticed the band restriction for a week or two after surgery but now I can't notice it at all unless I forget to chew my food really well. I have had a fill of 3ccs and still feel no restriction, so don't get discouraged if you need multiple fills before feeling anything.

I'm glad you are healing!Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14232725449634542624noreply@blogger.com
